THE MISSION OF THE VICKSBURG WARREN COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY

This mission is achieved by promoting the growth and development of the business community through a series of programs and opportunities in networking, education, and training.

Following the first organization of the Vicksburg community committed to commerce and trade in the 1800’s, namely The Board of Trade of the City of Vicksburg, today’s Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, also a founding member of the US National Chamber of Commerce in 1912, is active in serving the business community of Vicksburg and Warren County.  Throughout many decades, the organization has spearheaded important and consequential initiatives for the community many of them that have eventually stood on their own resources and continued to make a difference in the lives of all residents in the region.

Today the Chamber leads the community in supporting transformation and innovative initiatives in education, economic development, higher education, and training among others.

“Leader in Me”

Programs like the “Leader in Me” have won the State and National Awards including the Mississippi Governor’s Award and the Franklin Covey Lighthouse Award.

Crystal Star Award

Recently the partnership of the Chamber of Commerce and the Vicksburg Warren School District was also nationally recognized by receiving the Crystal Star Award from the National Drop Out Prevention Network.
